Inaugurated in 2009, the Mogador Essaouira Golf Club is an integral part of the Mogador estate, a 580-hectare project ideally located 3km south of the town of Essaouira, overlooking the beaches and the Atlantic Ocean.

Perfectly integrated into its natural environment, the Mogador Golf Club makes the most of the region's rare natural resources, thanks in particular to an irrigation system combined with a wastewater filtering system.

It has a first 18-hole golf course and a second 13-hole course. Both courses were designed by South African champion Gary Player, renowned for his career in golf. Featuring water hazards, pronounced relief, elevated tee boxes and blind shots, they offer amateur and professional players alike a unique experience in an exceptional setting of dunes, forest and sea.

Ranked among the 20 most beautiful courses in the world in 2010, the first course of the Essaouira Golf Club in Morocco is already a benchmark in the Moroccan golfing landscape. In 2015, the Mogador Golf Club was ranked among the 10 most beautiful golf courses less than 4 hours from Paris by GQ magazine.
